That is a good video.

Just remember, the only thing a cop wants to do is get you charged. They are not interested in anything else.
So why help them?

I thought keeping you mouth shut or at least 100% off topic was SOP for everyone.

They have the obligation to prove your guilt and you have none to assist them in that pursuit.

Unfortunately, if you are suspected of doing something wrong, talking to the police is not always the right thing to do.
If it is something that can be cleared up straight away, then fine.
But if it is something which you have not done, but there is evidence that points in your direction, despite you being innocent, chances are you have become the target of their suspicions and like a done with a bone they won't want to let go.
If you give them an alibi, rather than accepting it, they may start looking for a way around your alibi ("actually, now we think the crime was committed on the previous day").
Best to get a lawyer asap.
If it is a political matter, it's best to say nothing. Talking to them only gives them more ammunition to use against you.
Look at what the cops in the UK have been doing to the EDL guys.
If it's political, it's a whole different set of rules.
Name and address only (as legally required). Apart from that...
Say nothing.

Quiet right! Tell them nothing, offer no explanation assist in no way and inform them of your intention not to assist them in fact inform them why you will not assist them. If they dont respect that simply answer every question with a question !
