Girl, 12, cleared for sex change

A JUDGE has allowed a 12-year-old girl to begin a taxpayer-funded sex change, despite objections from the child's father.

The girl, who cannot be named, has begun court-approved hormone treatment in the first step towards becoming a boy.

The Family Court orders also permit the girl to apply for a new birth certificate, passport and Medicare card in a boy's name.

The application to allow the hormone treatment was lodged by the girl's mother.

An endocrinologist, a psychiatrist, a family counsellor, a State Government watchdog and a lawyer acting for the child all supported the plan.

Only her father, who lives interstate, opposed the proposed sex change, but he did not attend the final court hearing and could not afford to send a lawyer on his behalf.

The court was told he could not accept his daughter had always seen herself as a boy and considered her too young to make such a decision.

Even if we did have a change of government, removed the ideas of "multiculturalism" and "liberalism," it would take so much effort reprogramming most of the population that it would be hardly worth it. Most of our population are just as screwed spiritually (crass materialism, addictions) that they really aren't much better than Third World refugees.

Just being "White" doesn't make you right.

Our society is sick, this is not anyone elses fault I dont even know whos fault it is, but we are seriously damn sick.

Consumerism, driven by the endless desire for "economic growth" and fatter corporate profits has scooped out the soul of our people like a Lemon Baller.....

We simply dont have an inside left, we look at scenes that would have filled our ancestors with righteous revulsion and we cheer, or at the most simply "change the channel" and look away.

The state has taken away our responsibility for doing anything, educating our kids, looking after ourselves {compo claims} looking after our health.... we are children in a giant playground.

Family and community are not as important as they used to be because we have grown used to the state simply providing what we used to do ourselves.

And every time the state grows in power and the Big business hacks that cheep in the monsters ear grab yet another concession to sell us yet cheaper and more shiny appliances our individualism gets taken away a little more.

Every time another thing is done for us that we used to do ourselves we become less human and more drone. That is what we are under the growing power of the state, nothing but crying helpless children

The "Nanny State" psychology is a problem, but I think that the problems come before that.

It's the psychology of our people that is the problem.
Not only the consumerism, but the lack of community and the lack of morality.

The question is why.
How did it happen, what is causing it?
And how do we fix it?

In my view the growing power of the state is the thing that causes it.

as more and more duties and responsibilities that used to be the purview of communities and families get taken over by the state, the groups that used to provide those functions lose a large chunk of their meaning.

The less independent people are, the more the roles of the family and the community are taken over by the state, the less people feel connected to their community and their culture.

In essance this IS the cause of consumerism, the large and increasingly totalitaraian state.

Stupid. At that age, by the time she is 16 (and probably well before)  she might change her mind. Its like giving a drunk a sex change, when she sobers up, she is screwed.
