Dutch far-right MP Geert Wilders made good on his pledge to post his controversial film critical of Islam on the internet, which features violent imagery of terrorist attacks in New York and Madrid intertwined with Koranic texts. The first minutes of the 15-minute movie - posted today on http://www.liveleak.com - show a Koran being opened and the text of a sura from Islam's holiest tome, which it translated from Arabic as imploring the faithful to "terrorise the enemies of Allah". [...] The final image is a reproduction of the Danish cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed with a bomb as a turban. The fuse coming from the bomb is lit and as the screen turns black there is the sound of thunder. Wilders, whose Freedom party holds nine seats in the 150-seat Dutch parliament, is no stranger to controversy. Even before he announced his film he had already received numerous death threats and lives under round-the-clock protection following the murder of Van Gogh. SMH |

well friday is coming up in clog wearer land.... Interesting to see how nuts the muslims go, plus word on the grapevine is that hooligan groups in Rotterdam will not allow riots to go unopposed. If the white kids try to strike out of course the police will pulp them, the "youths" on the other hand will get off scot free....  |

Apparently liveleak has caved and withdrawn the video, though it still plays for us (cached maybe?) update: As is turns out. the link we have is via liveleak, apparently somebody re-uploaded it before the official version was yanked, so our link is still good. see gates of vienna, LGF, jihad watch and brussels journal for statements. As expected though, the movie has gone viral Gates of Vienna has a list of sites where the movie is available, you can also see it on my facebook group. According to LGF, a blogger in Europe has had his site pulled for displaying Fitna. See also " winds of Jihad" for some media reports from around the world. |

Well, that was weird, the URL in the above post ( www.liveleak.com /view?i=7d9_1206624103) had the LiveLeak statement about them giving in to the terrorists, but when I posted the URL here, it automatically showed the actual film. Since I hadn't viewed it before, I assume that it must be in my ISP's cache (probably to save bandwidth, since it has been downloaded so many times). Good one.
